Content Guidelines

Where these guidelines apply

BountyPad works when contributors can trust what projects post and projects can trust what contributors submit. These guidelines apply to everything on BountyPad (project pages, token details, bounties, submissions and files, profiles, project updates and dispute statements) and are part of our Terms of Service.

Original work and intellectual property

Submit only work you created or have clear permission to use, and respect the license terms of anything you include: open-source code, fonts, stock images, music, video clips and brand assets. If a bounty asks for a particular license on delivered work, make sure you are able to grant it.

• No plagiarism: don't copy or lightly rework someone else's work, including other contributors' submissions, and present it as your own.
• Credit sources, templates and collaborators, and don't claim sole credit for team work.
• Don't upload material you don't have the right to share, such as paid assets or leaked content.

AI-generated work

When a bounty requires it, disclose AI-generated or AI-assisted work and say clearly which parts were made with AI tools. Follow any bounty that limits or bans AI use. You are responsible for AI-generated content just as for anything else you submit, including its originality and your right to use it.

No financial promises or price predictions

Bounties, project pages, token descriptions and updates must not make financial promises or price predictions. In particular, don't:

• promise or imply profits, returns, “guaranteed gains” or price targets;
• predict a token's future price or market cap;
• describe a token as an investment, or suggest that completing missions will raise its value;
• offer rewards for manipulating a market, such as coordinated buying or wash trading;
• post paid promotion for a project without disclosing that it is paid, as the platform you post on and advertising law require.

Prohibited content

Don't post, submit or request:

• sexual or other NSFW content, and anything that sexualizes minors, which will be reported to the relevant authorities;
• hateful content that attacks people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics;
• harassment, threats, incitement to violence, or someone's private information shared without their consent;
• illegal content, or bounties for illegal activity;
• spam or fake engagement, including bounties that pay for bots, fake followers, likes or reviews.

Safe links and files

Every link and file on BountyPad should be safe to open. BountyPad blocks links to known malicious domains and may block others at any time. Don't share:

• malware, wallet drainers or phishing links;
• fake airdrops, fake mint or claim pages, or anything that asks for a seed phrase, private key or unexpected wallet approval;
• links disguised as something else. Link to where your work actually lives.

No impersonation

Be who you say you are. Don't:

• pretend to be another person, project or brand, or a member of the BountyPad team;
• copy another project's name, ticker, logo or links to mislead people;
• claim partnerships, endorsements or affiliations you don't have.

Reporting and enforcement

Use the report button to flag content that breaks these guidelines. Depending on how serious or repeated a violation is, moderators may hide content, block links, adjust reputation, freeze a project in the BountyPad interface or ban an account. Moderation never moves escrowed funds.
