About these terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of BountyPad: the website, its APIs, and the tools it provides for launching tokens, funding bounties and submitting work. BountyPad is operated by [Company legal name], organized under the laws of [Jurisdiction] (“BountyPad”, “we” or “us”).
By connecting a wallet, signing in or otherwise using BountyPad, you agree to these Terms and to the policies they include: the Privacy Policy, Bounty Rules, Dispute Policy, Risk Disclosure and Content Guidelines. If you don't agree, don't use BountyPad.
We may change these Terms. When we do, we update the “Last updated” date above, and we give notice on the site before material changes take effect. If you keep using BountyPad after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
What BountyPad is, and what it isn't
BountyPad is software. Projects use it to launch a Solana token through Pump.fun, fund community bounties (“missions”) from an on-chain escrow program, and review and pay for the work contributors submit. Contributors use it to find bounties, submit work and receive rewards in SOL.
BountyPad is not a bank, broker, exchange, custodian, investment adviser, employer or escrow agent, and it never holds your funds. Bounty rewards are held in an on-chain escrow program that BountyPad cannot withdraw from. Escrowed funds can only go to an approved contributor's wallet, or back to the project's treasury after a cancellation before the deadline or after the review window expires.
Nothing on BountyPad is investment advice, a recommendation or a promise of returns. Tokens launched or shown on BountyPad are not described or offered as investments, and a project's presence on BountyPad is not an endorsement. Token prices can fluctuate sharply and can go to zero; read the Risk Disclosure before you use BountyPad.
Eligibility and your wallet
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, and able to enter into a binding agreement. You may not use BountyPad if you are located in or a resident of [Restricted jurisdictions], if you are the subject of sanctions, or if using BountyPad would break the laws that apply to you.
Your account is your Solana wallet. You sign in by signing a message with your wallet, which proves you control its address; signing in doesn't move funds or give anyone permission to spend them. Your wallet address is your account identifier and is public on the blockchain.
You are solely responsible for your wallet, its keys and everything signed with it. BountyPad will never ask for your seed phrase or private key; anyone who does is trying to steal from you. If you lose access to your wallet, we can't recover it, its funds or the account tied to it.
Projects and founders
If you create a project, you are responsible for it: its token, its bounties, its team and everything it publishes. Only the wallet that controls a project's treasury can fund bounties, release payouts, cancel bounties or withdraw unallocated treasury funds. Team members you add can help draft and review bounties, but you remain responsible for what they do.
Tokens are launched through Pump.fun's on-chain program and are subject to Pump.fun's own terms. BountyPad does not create markets, set prices, provide liquidity or trade tokens, and has no control over Pump.fun or any market where a token trades.
As a project owner, you agree to:
- give accurate information about your project, token and team, and keep it current;
- define each bounty's requirements, deliverables, judging criteria, reward structure and deadline clearly before you fund it, because contributors rely on what you publish;
- review submissions in good faith, within the review window, against the criteria you published;
- pay for approved work by signing the payout before the review window ends, because BountyPad can't sign it for you;
- never promise or predict token prices, returns or profits, or describe your token as an investment;
- comply with the laws that apply to you and your token, including securities, consumer protection, advertising and tax laws.
Contributors
When you submit work, you confirm that it is your own or that you have the rights to submit it, and that it follows the bounty's requirements, the Bounty Rules and the Content Guidelines.
Bounty work is not guaranteed to be selected or paid. Unless a bounty's structure explicitly guarantees payment (for example, an open-contribution bounty that pays every submission meeting its stated criteria until the pool runs out), the project decides which submissions to accept. Even then, payment comes from the project, not from BountyPad: the escrow program only releases a reward when the project owner signs the payout.
Rewards are paid in SOL to the verified wallet recorded on your submission. You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn. You take part as an independent participant; nothing on BountyPad makes you an employee, agent or partner of BountyPad or of any project.
Transactions and fees
Every on-chain action (launching a token, funding a treasury or bounty, releasing a payout, cancelling or closing a bounty) is a transaction you review and sign in your own wallet. BountyPad prepares the transaction and summarizes where funds will move, but what your wallet shows you is what you sign. Check it every time.
Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Once a transaction is confirmed, BountyPad cannot cancel, reverse or refund it, including one sent to the wrong address or signed by mistake.
You pay Solana network fees, any account rent your transactions require, and Pump.fun's fees when you launch or buy a token. If BountyPad charges a platform fee, it appears as a separate line in the transaction before you sign. BountyPad never takes fees out of escrowed rewards.
BountyPad runs on Solana mainnet. Every transaction moves real SOL and tokens that have real value, and confirmed transactions can't be undone.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post: project pages, bounties, submissions, files, profile details, updates and dispute statements. You grant BountyPad a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce and display that content as needed to operate, secure and improve BountyPad, within the visibility rules in our Privacy Policy.
Rights in submitted work are a matter between the contributor and the project, and are set by the bounty. Unless the bounty states other terms, the contributor keeps ownership, and once a submission is paid the project may use the work for the purposes the bounty describes.
Your content must follow the Content Guidelines. We may hide or remove content that breaks these Terms or our policies, or that we are legally required to remove.
Moderation, suspension and termination
BountyPad moderators may hide content, freeze projects in the BountyPad interface, adjust reputation, block links and ban accounts to enforce these Terms and our policies or to protect users. We may also change, suspend or discontinue any part of BountyPad at any time.
Moderators cannot move escrowed funds. Moderation only affects BountyPad's website and records; the escrow program, the Solana blockchain and tokens keep working under their own rules, and whatever you hold on-chain stays under the control of your wallet.
You can stop using BountyPad at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive, including disclaimers, limits of liability and indemnity, continue to apply after you stop.
Disclaimers, liability and governing law
BountyPad is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted and error-free operation. We don't guarantee the accuracy of anything shown on BountyPad, including prices, market data and bounty statuses; the blockchain is the source of truth.
To the fullest extent the law allows, BountyPad and its affiliates, officers, employees and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost funds, tokens, profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of BountyPad, the blockchain, Pump.fun, wallets or other third-party services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the fees you paid BountyPad in the 12 months before the claim and USD 100.
You agree to indemnify BountyPad against claims arising from your content, your projects or tokens, your use of BountyPad, or your breach of these Terms or the law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], and the courts of [Jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes with BountyPad, except where the law where you live gives you other rights. Questions about these Terms: [contact email].
